If you ask me “Is facial cleansing important? “. Well to me if you want to have that healthy glowing skin, and YES of course facial cleansing is VERY IMPORTANT. There is no doubt with the current environment, we encounter air pollution and toxic elements everyday. There is a possibility to increased risk of skin cancer, skin sensitivity, premature skin aging, discoloration, dryness, dullness, and roughness.
The most immediate threats air pollution imposes on our skin are the skin barrier and skin hydration. But worry not, of course our skin can be protected. As long as we properly cleanse our skin and using products with ingredients specifically tested against the most common toxins in pollution.
There are various type of facial cleanser —whether that’s a rinse-off facial cleanser, cleansing balm or oil, micellar water, or towelettes, but one you may not have yet tried is a white clay facial cleanser. Just to name a few of skin type, this wonderful white clay cleanser will be your favorite cleanser in skincare routine.
What is White Clay ?

Product Overview
Texture
The colour is white to grey-is, light grey and texture is silky dense without water.
The Scents
At first there is a pleasant aroma scents which I like but after foam was created, the scents changed to different aroma (like natural earthy clay scents) .
The Application
A moderate amount of water was added and gently massage the cleanser. At first the cleanser became fluffy and a bit foamy.
After a few seconds massage your skin, the texture of cleanser changed to lightweight whipped cream foam. It was kind of foamy.
As you cleanse and massage your skin about 20-30 seconds the texture became smooth, thick whipped cream foam and doesn’t spills away. It’s not watery.
My Thoughts
There’s no denying, Heimish produces excellent products especially their most popular ALL CLEAN cleansing balm. So to complete the 2nd steps of double cleansing is with their All Clean White Clay foam. And as I do some research on clay foam or clay wash, it already became a trend since 2017. Despite clay can be so beneficial to all skin types, it does make sense after all. Both clay wash and clay-based masks give benefits that help purify and exfoliate the skin, to unclog pores and absorb excess oil. But the differences between these two is time-consuming, where clay wash is seem to be less time-consuming and more gentle than clay-based masks. I love using clay mask whenever my skin feels a little oily throughout the day, so not giving a try with this All Clean White Clay foam.
Since the main ingredient is Kaolin (1500 mg) so the texture itself is quite dense and thick. Therefore you need to squeeze firmly to get it out of tube. I really enjoy massage the foamy lather yet thick whipped cream foam on my skin. It feels really soft and silky smooth. It rinses off well with cool water. My skin felt really cleaned & soft but as I patted dry eventually there was tightness after a few seconds. But unfortunately, the only thing that I don’t like about clay cleansers in general is that clay is alkaline, their pH tends to be slightly higher than my preferred level of pH 5-6 range.
For me this clay foam cleanser is perfect for deep cleansing 2-3 times a week for dry skin, but do marvelous for acne/oily skin.
