What I’ve Experienced

To be honest, my skin is not a fan of micellar water when removing makeup products. I’ve tried other micellar water from different brands and mostly they sting my eyes and leaves my skin redness and irritated like I have a skin rash.

This happened whenever I repeated the same process of reapplying & wipe over skin surfaces until all makeup products and build-ups were cleaned entirely. The worse part that I’ve experienced when I woke up with swollen eyes the next morning.

There’s one micellar water that I like and gentle to my skin, but it doesn’t deliver in removing makeup products on skin—just decent cleansing care.

On the other hand, Rovectin Clean Marine Micellar Deep Cleansing Water has eliminated my anxiety when using micellar water.

I used this mostly during night routine where I just apply sunscreen or cushion through out the day. Effective at removing everything off including light makeup without being harsh on my skin. It is non-irritating and gentle to sensitive skin. No greasy/sticky feeling after use. But there’s one thing that surprised me was it creates foaming as I work along cleansing my skin. I’m not sure if it’s normal or not. Then I just rinse my skin with plain water and viola! Skin feels soft, smooth and moist. I woudn’t recommend to use this as eye makeup remover because it stings a lot as the product gets into my eyes. For heavy waterproof makeup, need extra remover.

What I’ve Experienced

I’ve used TO 10% Niacinamide before, where it produced foaming as I applied it over my skin, but this one doesn’t. This feels great to use in tropical countries as it spreads easily over skin & absorbs quickly without a sticky finish.

I noticed it has lighten a bit my PIH and my skin feels smooth, soft & luminous. There’s no bad reaction/ breakout. I guess this serum formulation is excellent for my skin & I end up sticking to this one.

What I’ve Experienced

This is one of my favourite products apart from others because it contains an active ingredient: Carrot, a derivative of Vitamin A. One of the powerhouse ingredients for anti-aging, treating hyperpigmentation and dark spots. And it also contains essential oils that act as emollient : Daucus Carota Sativa Seed Oil, Bixa Orellana Seed Oil, Glycine Soja Oil, Canola Oil and Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil.  It also contains Melaleuca Alternifolia Leaf Oil, which known for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory actions.

I used it only during the night routine after applied Real Barrier Extreme Cream Ampoule. In the first week, there was no bad reaction on my skin; everything seems fine. But when enter third week, my skin started to feel a bit rough and bumpy to the touch. My skin started to show some signs of purging but still under control hahaha. Before this I’ve tried TO Retinol 1% and my skin purged really bad after second week of usage then I stop immediately before getting worse. Although I did continue applied TO Retinol for two days interval, but still my skin can’t tolerate it.  Different from this cream, skin appearance still looks healthy and glow during purging period. Probably this was due to my skin’s response to this Benton Let’s Carrot Cream, by which Vitamin A has a molecular structure that tiny enough to get into the lower layers of skin, where it finds collagen and elastin. As I kept on using it constantly every night, my skin gradually getting better, skin texture feels smoother, my PIH has lighten and I noticed it helped reduce my fine lines.

Definitely will repurchase this cream.

What I’ve Experienced

To be honest, I loved most of Neogen Toner pads due to its size, cloth pads thickness and generous amount of essence. I was very happy to received another variation of Neogen toner pads and this time it’s the renewal version from the previous one. I haven’t tried the old version so I can’t compare them. Since I have dry, sometimes irritate/redness, I used this charcoal pad like twice or trice a week mostly during morning routine when I skip using cleanser. The charcoal pad itself is mild and gentle enough for my dry skin without causing any irritation or redness. The ABS Ginger Mint extract offers a cooling effect on irritated skin.

The peeling formulation helps with chemical exfoliation of dead skin cells and retained my skin hydration. Meanwhile black charcoal pads which contains bamboo charcoal and Canadian glacial soil ingredients helps absorb sebum and waste. Besides that it cleanses my skin well and help tightens pores and my skin feels smoother, brighter complexion and soft skin texture.

Since the pad is black so I can’t see any residues, but one thing for sure it helps cleared up my nose sebaceous filament! Required to be consistent in using this in my skincare routine so that sebaceous filaments doesn’t pop back, Yikess! Would recommend for those who have dry and irritated skin that prefer physical and chemical exfoliation at the same same to try this.

Cell Fusion C *renewal* Laser Sunscreen 100 SPF50+/PA+++ 50ml

What I’ve Experienced

Unfortunately, my Cell Fusion C *renewal* Laser Sunscreen 100 SPF50+/PA+++ is nowhere to be found. I’m not sure whether I have lost it during unboxing because during that time my kids are with me. I’ve tried searching it entire house for weeks even in trash but still no sign of it. Therefore, I cannot do any review for this product. It was a very frustrating situation for me. But I have tried their old version of this sunscreen and really enjoyed and love it so much. I am keen to know the difference between these two and definitely add to the cart for this renewal version and compare it. I Will update soon, probably in another blog post.

What I’ve Experienced

I am thrilled to received cream from Pyunkang Yul because I have high expectations of most of their products. I have tried their Nutrition Cream and immediately fell in love. I was hoping to have the same feeling for this Calming Moisture Barrier Cream too.

The texture looks like a dense cream, but it was more lightweight than Pyunkang Yul Nutrition Cream and suitable to use during morning/day routine even though the weather here is hot and humid. This cream blends well and my skin doesn’t sweat after application.

Definitely my new holy grail moisturizer for intense moisture & hydration that suits well during hot season or weather without clogging pores.

What I’ve Experienced

Most major complaints of the skin around the eyes are puffy eyes, dark circles and wrinkles. They’re swollen. Puffy. Dark. Tired. Like you’re walking around looking like one of Tim Burton movie’s character, of course not the lead actor, just supporting with 1 scene. At least the Corpse Bride doesn’t have any wrinkles…hmmmm..

And ofcourse some of eye cream products when applied caused irritation or even millia. But this one doesn’t. The texture is thick cream (feels a bit like a balm but non-greasy) and it blends really well on skin, fast absorbant without feeling any greasiness or tackiness after application. The best part it doesn’t stings my eyes.

Niacinamide is helpful for the eyes for a combination of safety and efficacy. So there’s a low risk of irritation or inflammation from using it around the eyes without worry. Since it also contain Titanium Dioxide which is one of UV-filters ingredient, I just apply it instead of sunscreen around my eyes (some sunscreen do stings my eyes). I really love how it comes with the applicator that have a silver tip massage and scooped on the other edge. The tip massage has cooling effect on skin and does its job at reducing the appearance of swelling or puffiness the next morning (this happened everytime I ate Maggi a.k.a ramen late night huhuhu ~o~ ). It also helps with the inflammation.

Alhamdulillah, after using it for more than 4 weeks in both routine it has brighten and moisturize my dark circle whilst reduce the appearance of fine lines, tighten smile and neck lines too. It also contains Peptides help skin look firmer and has anti-aging properties, Adenosine helps improve barrier repair and protection; while plant stemcell extract helps lifting my tired eyes making my eyes looking more alive!!!

This is one of my favourite eye cream so far for 2021 due to its performance and more affordable than high end brand which has very similar ingredients and formulation.

Dr.ato Apple Cider Vinegar Wash is recommended for those who have dry and flaky skin lacking moisture. This wash can be used not only for body wash but also facial cleanser and bubble bath. It has clear and transparent gel-like consistency with pleasant smells. It create airy light bubbles and glides effortless on skin without leaving tight or dry feeling. It makes both body and facial skin soft and smooth after rinsing. My kids also used this wash and I noticed it helped a lot in keeping my son’s skin, especially his flaky foot, moistened and hydrated thanks to Dr.ato’s unique patented vermix-similar ingredients. It also helped soothes irritated skin.

Definitely will repurchase this to a bigger size.

This shampoo is recommended for those who have dry sensitive scalp and other skin concerns such as restoring skin pH’s balance, stiff hair, scalp that needs exfoliation, and hair loss. It has clear gel-like texture and create airy light foams. My kids love this shampoo since it doesn’t stings or irritate when the bubbles gets in the eyes. It has soft pleasant smells.

I’m so happy about how my scalp feels, no irritation and blistering at all. Our hair feels soft, smooth and looks more shinier and healthy. This shampoo formulations are very gentle and suitable for sensitive scalp.

Dr.ato Triple – Hyaluron Moisture Lotion 40ml

Main ingredients:

This Dr.ato Triple – Hyaluron Moisture Lotion is ideal for fast moisturization of dry skin and improving the skin barrier. Suitable not only for delicate baby skin but also for sensitive adult skin. It has mildly acidic of pH5.5 to balance skin moisture. This lotion has lightweight cream consistency and melts right away after massage. Fast absorbant and leaving soft smooth feeling on skin. There’s a cooling sensation and has soft nice flower-like smells. I noticed that this lotion helped retain moisture for longer periods and soothes my kids’ irritated and itchy skin. Definitely will repurchase for big size.
