A huge thanks to Stylekorean, once again giving me this unforgettable experience trying new skincare products from new to well-known brands. I would not have gone this far without them.
If you guys read on my previous review on [Skincare Routine] Brighten Blemished Skin & Pore Care With Innisfree, my health condition was not in a good condition. So I didn’t do any review after that because my spine was killing me. The side effects after spinal anesthesia really got me for almost 4 weeks. I’ve experienced some back pain, numbness, or soreness, headaches accompanied by nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and a stiff neck after the procedure for two weeks. I can still experience back pain if I stand or sit too long.
This time review is about a new skincare line from Be The Skin, which is actually a new brand to me. I’m very excited to share my skin journey with Be The Skin: BHA+ Pore Line where it helped clear up my congested skin due to “maksne” (mask acne which developed due to wearing a face mask the whole time in the hospital ward for 3 days) and even out my skin texture during my postnatal confinement.
I only used this set which consists of BHA+ Pore Zero Cleansing Foam (1% Willow-BHA™), BHA+ Pore Zero Toner (85% Willow-BHA™), BHA+ Pore Zero Serum (1% Willow-BHA™), and BHA+ Dark Spot Zero Cream (1% Willow-BHA™) for whole three weeks skincare routine, then slowly added other skincare product that contains a high amount of moisturizing effect to balanced my dry skin’s moisture plus to ensure all this set can be well incorporated with other brands too. I’m aware that sometimes our skin cannot “go” with one full set product line itself, there was time where our skin show amazing progress with adding other products too. So this line does not have any problem when used together with other products brand.
BUT !!! I am actually impressed by how well this line itself managed my skin condition at that time (congested pores, rough texture, dull skin). TBH it was hard to describe each of the product’s effectiveness since I used all four products in one routine. What I can conclude here is that this line really does what it claimed for: the concept of zero to remove impurities and dead skin cells, soothe irritated skin and make it clear and bright skin.
You guys can refer to my BEFORE and AFTER skin photos below. I’m really grateful that this line actually does great for my skin although my skin is on the dry side. But please do take note, what might work for me might not/or work for you or vice versa.

Elastic creamy formula. When mixed with water, it formed lightweight and airy microbubbles. Has subtle fragrance smells.
My Experience
A mild BHA cleansing cares together with green fruits from shine musket, green papaya, green apple and green plum that gently removes greasy sebum, effectively cleanse away makeup residues and wastes in pores while keeping my skin smooth and moist without feeling tightness after washing. I noticed this cleanser did form a natural protective film made with wild oak and Mexican Chia Seeds which make the skin moist and comfortable.
To me, this is a mild and gentle exfoliating cleanser that can be used daily from normal to oily-combination skin type, problematic skin and can be beneficial for sensitive skin because it has completed skin hypoallergenic test. So you guys can use it with confidence without worrying about irritation. But if you guys have very dry skin, I would not recommend using it daily. Twice a week is enough.
Since I just stayed at home (self-healing), I only applied sunscreen throughout the day therefore I used this cleanser daily during nighttime only. There was no double cleansing in my skincare routine. So far this cleanser doesn’t irritate my skin and after three weeks my dull and congested skin becomes more clean and clear. Definitely the perfect cleansing for whitehead + blackhead + acne care.
✨ SPECIAL TIP :
It’s helpful to wash the face twice after the first wash where sebum secretion is active, such as the T-zone area, U-zone area and areas with a lot of pores on both sides of the nose.

My Experience
This mild toner with a mild peeling formula contains 85% nature-derived willow-BHA™ that can be used comfortably every day without worrying about irritated and stressed skin. Again, this mild BHA care is suitable for all skin types except for very dry skin!
For the first two weeks I used this toner daily during both morning and night and noticed it helped a lot in smooth out my skin texture by exfoliating dead skin cells and even out my skin complexion. The next third week I used it only in night routine followed with other hydrating products due to my dry skin condition. I’m so relieved that it doesn’t irritate my skin but I don’t want to over-exfoliating my skin since I also used a cleanser from this BHA+ Line.
With consistent while adding other hydrating products during midday and night routine, I noticed it helped manage my new maskne at my upper lips area and lessen the appearance of sebum secretion especially on the nose area. The watery-essence-like consistency absorbs quickly into my skin by patting method and it helps keep my skin moist and increase my skin’s moisture contents. BUT I love to pour the toner onto cotton pads and gently wipe along with the skin texture to deep clean any residues left after cleansing. You can see some leftover gunk on my skin has been wiped off.
✨ SPECIAL TIP :
Can be used as a sheet mask. Wet the mask sheet with sufficient amount of toner, attach to face and use it in form of a mask pack. Recommended to remove within 15 minutes.

My Experience
◼ Performance: lightweight serum formulation that spreads smoothly and soft on my skin with providing a refreshing feeling of use especially during hot sunny days. It quickly runs through well on hydrated skin, leaving skin soft without tackiness. Feels lightweight on the skin.
◼ Skin Reaction : So far there’s no bad reaction on my skin, no purging or even breakout
◼ Stings/tingles Sensation: Non

I really love this serum texture colour of sage green which is my favourite shade of green 😉 (that’s a bonus point huhuhu). From the ingredients list, it contains fragrance in it but the scent is just subtle and will diffuse as the serum fully absorbed into skin. So far after three weeks of use with two weeks of full usage and alternately with other serum for a week, so far it doesn’t irritate my skin or show any bad reaction.
For the first two weeks, I noticed this serum when applied together with BHA+ toner, it helped smooth out rough skin texture and my congested pores become less visible. It doesn’t leave any stickiness or tackiness when applied but still provides minimal hydration to my dry skin. I noticed my skin tone was more bright and even. It has high healing and anti-inflammatory properties of four effective ingredients of Centella Asiatica (Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Madecassoside and Asiaticoside) together with patented ingredients (Oenothera, Pueraria lobata var. thomsoni, pine needles, Ulmus davidiana var. japonica NAKAI. complex) that help control sebum production and acne occur.
I found myself reaching this serum more often. Just can’t wait to empty this one and update you guys.

My Experience

What I love about this cream is the slim tube packaging with narrow tip that easy to control and dispense out the product and also its small size that is great for travel-friendly. Another thing about this spot cream which I like is the formulation itself. Usually, my skin would reacted to BHA ingredient that contain in any moisturizer or cream but not this one. After three weeks of consistent used together with other products from this line, I noticed it helped managed my “maskne” (mask acne), where the redness around acne became lessen and the pus started to grow covering the red bumps and it pops on its own.
I used this dark spot cream on my whole face since my skin looks so dull and pretty much looks like a lifeless person hahahaha 😂😂 It does provide hydration to my dry skin but as for dryer flaky skin I don’t think this spot cream is enough. It does minimize the appearance of maskne redness and old pigmented scars.
The main ingredient of Tranexamic Acid is actually a brightening powerhouse that was said to boast some of the most superhuman benefits in terms of addressing discoloration. Therefore, it’s heaven-sent for anyone dealing with melasma, hyperpigmentation,1 acne scarring, or purple-y red-splotched complexions [1]. I might repurchase this one as soon it’s empty.
Special Tips:
1- For wrinkle improvement and whitening : apply 1 more time to absorbs at area with wrinkles, freckles, or blemishes.
2- Clean and elasticity pore care : mix cream and serum at a ratio of 2:1 and reapply it around sagging and dull pore to clean and elastically care for inside of pores and areas around pigmented pores.
