{Review} The Skin House Vital Bright Serum (Brightening Function)

Have you ever pay meticulous attention to your skin when looking at your mirror? It’s likely you’ll have noticed small areas of discolouration and darkening. But we’re not talking freckles, these are larger, uneven dark patches that seem to appear on your face, neck, shoulders and hands. These discolouration and darkening that affect your skin colour is called pigmentation disorder.

Pigmentation disorder happens when special cells which is responsible for melanin production become damaged or unhealthy. One of the causes of skin pigmentation disorder is due to damaging effects of sun exposure, in which UVA rays can wreck your skin.

There’s a lot of ways to treat and manage pigmentation such as sun protection, brightening creams & serums, professional chemical peels, laser treatments and most importantly is to identify what triggers pigmentation disorder. So for now, I wanted to highlight on brightening serums that can helps reduce and brighten pigmentation disorder on your skin which is The Skin House Vital Bright Serum (30 ML).

FEATURES, TEXTURE & SCENTS

The essence is viscous transparent gel type serum and contains moisture particles and peal condensed granule. If you pop the peal and roll it, the peal will be absorbed softly and make the skin bright. The scents unfortunately smells quite strong for me, this is a new scents to me, I’m sorry to say this but it do smell more like an artificial aroma or maybe thick mix fruit extract aroma. Because it contain a lot of fruit extracts. But I don’t know about you guys. It’s really hard to give an explanation about scents. Every person have different senses of smell right!

MY THOUGHTS ON THIS SERUM

This is my second serum that I received from The Skin House brand and I came across that this serum and the other one which is Canola Propolis Moist Serum, both comes closest to a gel-like consistency. Both have clear in appearance. Well I guess I should make another post for comparison both of their serum soon. OK, lets continue with this serum. At first I didn’t noticed any granules until I pumped 3-4 times for the serum to get the pipette full and draw out it on my back hand. And because of that, I think dropper packing provide poor performance for a gel-like consistency. I wish they would change it to tube packaging.

It’s very vicious and there’s small granules if you look closely which are shining sliver white in colour. That small granules do melt itself when punctured and rolled on the skin. I recommended that melt the granules and mix it with the serum then apply it to your skin. That way the skin will get all the benefits from the serum. Don’t worry because the serum do absorbs quickly and glides smoothly on to skin without leaving any stickiness behind.

Just with the right amount, not too much just a pea sized is enough, which leaves my skin soft, moist, and a lot fresh healthy skin. After using it for three weeks, I noticed my skin looks glowing, brightening and has improved my skin texture. Even though I didn’t favor the scents, but it subsides in a while after application. The more I used it, the more I get used to the scents😅

If you look at the ingredients list, this serum contain various of fruit extracts, to name a few, such as Rosa Multiflora Fruit Extract for anti-aging effects, Gardenia Florida Fruit Extract as anti-oxidant properties and fragrance, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-oxidant and anti-ultraviolet radiation functions while Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract is used to help treat acne, revitalize the skin, hasten healing and make the skin have an overall glow. It also contain Niacinamide which listed top 8 in the ingredients list, that have the ability to minimize enlarged pores, tighten lax pores, improve uneven skin tone, diminish dullness, and strengthen a weakened surface. And of course, also contain Hyaluronic Acid that enhance moisture content beyond comparison and revitalizes skin.

Would I recommend this serum? Of course, definitely especially for those who wants to clear their skin complexion and for those who wanted to reduce the appearance of dark spots or pigmentation. You just need to be patient for this serum to do its job. Best applied together with The Skin House brand sisters: COXIR VitaC Bright Toner [Whitening Functional] and XYCOS Vita Propolis Cream.
